Bitcoin doesn't care what I think.

reply

Totally agree with your answer, but my intensions is to feel more or less what the users of SN think about the Ordinals.

reply

I understand. Do I like NFT's on bitcoin? No. That doesn't mean I want to stop other people from doing what they want so long as they do not violate the code. That's why I had trouble picking a "yes" or "no."

Same, if they are paying for the block space, more power to them. Gonna be funny when someone accidentally spends an “ordinal” accidentally in a random TX fee because the sats the ordinals are tied to are still fungible lol. Technically they can never be actual “nfts”

You should distinguish between Ordinals - which publishes significant amounts of data on Bitcoin - and approaches like RGB which doesn't. In fact, with further improvements RGB can even become so efficient that literally billions of NFT transactions per second could be handled with just a single Bitcoin transaction: https://petertodd.org/2017/scalable-single-use-seal-asset-transfer

Also, the single-use-seal approach that RGB uses is 100% censorship resistant. It is hopeless for miners to even try to censor it. Utterly hopeless.
