Wow. Rose was one of my favorite baseball players as a kid. I collected every baseball card I could find on him as they came out. To watch him fall later as a teenager was like, "Where the hell did that come from?" I thought he had gotten caught gambling as a coach. There was nothing I remember at the time indicating he had been gambling as a player on games and related. Crazy it took some 40 years for that to come out too.
