Hmm...I was definitely comparing prices on the mini-PCs, between the Apple mini-mac and a few of the gamer PC substitutes. They were quite tempting, but at the end of the day I couldn't see how a little mini-box was going to handle the heat generated by heavy activity. Sure enough, with a bit of video research the real problem surfaced - the fan noise could be downright annoying in those little boxes.
