I'm sure our pay is much more reliable (and obviously much higher), but I've had some pretty ridiculous experiences trying to get paid correctly and on time.
I think one or two bad experiences in entire career are understandable but when you ask to a Indian working in any sector, almost everyone will say that they had many such bad experiences. Only banks and some big companies have been paying on time. But that's hardly where 10% workforce is. The rest works in unorganised or in sectors where salary is manipulated.
For example if you work in a school here, mostly they show much more in papers than what they pay you.
