Not really surprised to see this happening given he has recommended 4 Democrats to the DOJ for prosecution including Sen Schiff, Rep. Swalwell, NY AG Letitia James and Fed Reserve Gov. Lisa Cook. The request (which Members of Congress can request) comes from Senate Dems.

Typical investigations like this can take many months if not years so this isnt going to be hashed out until either right before or after the midterm elections next year.
