Hi frens 🩷

🌝 I'm still over the moon, floating in the clouds, ☁️ haven't come down yet! Last week, I finally saw Deafheaven live for the first time. Missed them before when they were nearby. But this year I was there, near the sound table.

They mostly played all the songs on Lonely People With Power, their latest album, plus the oldie-but-goldie Brought to the Waters, classics like Sunbather, and Dream House. From the first note, it was a wild ride: these guys give it all. Videos from recent shows (like Hellfest) had me worried about wonky, distant vocals, but live... The sound was perfection, chef's kiss from the jump.​​ I went bananas when they first played Doberman, hehe.

I hadn't moshed, jumped, or screamed like that in ages. Pure ecstasy! Highly recommend catching them if you can; even a tour focused on this album delivers a beautiful, unforgettable experience. Went all-in during Body Behaviour. Holy hell, barely any photos or videos because I was fully present. 100,000/10.​

The prep frenzy almost made me late posting my newest blog (devil's in the details, hehe, no pun intended), but totally worth it. Go see them, listen up 🐝 I'm buzzing to share this joy!
