No matter how much material will be written about this case, it won't matter. THEY PLEAD GUILTY.
What does this means? Is simple:
  • they were all along some peons played by the state and now will serve some months just as a facade and after that will just disappear and nobody will know anymore about them. Remember the Anom case...
  • or they were just losers and railroaded, playing the "guilty card" even that they didn't do any real crime. Also they were played by the lawyers and they lost the case like losers.
In the end all that matter is in this:
So where is the crime? Nowhere... They didn't commit any crime. Yet they still plead guilty like losers (aka bargaining with the state). GAME OVER.

Give me a break with all this bullshit... "legal clarity" my ass.
I agree they shouldn't have pled guilty, but wasn't that just a move to get a lighter sentence? Or was there actually a chance they'd walk free?

Pleading guilty lets you put the matter behind your more quickly, and spares you the risk of a much greater sentence. Until I've been in their shoes, I cannot judge anyone for making that choice.

Placating the system is not the answer.

cowardice and stupidity. Accusing yourself of something you are not guilty is the most stupid thing ever. Where is the crime? No crime. So you declare yourself of something imaginary. These are the so called "freedom fighters"? Cowards? LOL even a real samourai will do sepuku and die in honor, but not declare themselves guilty of something imaginary.
And that's why I a more inclined to think that this was all along a state manipulation and they were patsies.

do you think you need to have committed a crime for the state to point a gun at you?

it doesn't matter. I will never plead guilty of something I didn't do it. Then ask yourself: why somebody without any balls should be pardoned? I will understand a pardon if they were accused and didn't plead anything and wasn't a fair trial. But if they plead guilty, what are you going to pardon? A guilty man? Then is all a theater... as it is in fact.
I think all those people virtue signaling "free samourai" do not want to see the ridiculousness of this situation. But what should I expect? Almost all bitcoiners are fucking pussies statists that will kiss the state hand in an instant.

By definition, pardons are forgiveness of a crime, in the case where the person is guilty.
There have been several cases where people have refused conditional pardons, specifically because of the same ideological stance you have: accepting the pardon would implicitly mean that they were admitting guilt, whereas innocence needs no pardon, it is simply innocent.
