Happy to hear. :)
Bitcoin ATMs are a good way to buy Bitcoin without ID or a bank account (and no permanent purchase records linked to a full name, home address, ID scan and SSN).
KYC specifically means government ID requirements, not personal information (PII) like appearance, city, phone number, etc., so there is no "KYC leakage". For more privacy, a burner number, mask, etc. can help, but isn't necessary depending on risk situation.
You can also try Redeeem.com (e.g. sell an Amazon gift card), Azte.co vouchers (it's easy, just ask the cashier for an Azteco voucher and pay with cash, check their website for local stores) or cash by mail/money orders/cash in person via Bisq, HodlHodl, Agoradesk or Robosats.
Ahh okay that is very good to know. Plan on using the same ATM until all my fiat is gone. They have others but don’t want to deal with the hassle of them asking to scan my ID.

Let me know how it goes.

All done! 1M sat bounty paid (tip you on here)
Please reply to this message with your FOSS project and I will send 1M sats there too. If you don’t choose I will just send it to The ZEUS wallet app

Thanks. :) Happy to hear that the Bitcoin ATM worked and was fairly easy to use. Enjoy your new KYC-free Bitcoin.
KYC-free alternatives like Bitcoin ATMs, vouchers and cash in person/by mail are safe, financially inclusive and respect Satoshi's vision for Bitcoin (permissionless, pseudonymous and peer-to-peer). It's important to use, support and educate people about these options.
I like Microlancer (great KYC-free Bitcoin Lightning freelancing website, online since 2018) but I don't know if it's open source and couldn't find a donation address: https://microlancer.io/ Contact: https://twitter.com/Microlancer
If not, I like Robosats as a new KYC-free exchange. It's open source but I don't know if they have a donation address: https://github.com/reckless-satoshi/robosats
Otherwise, Zeus is a good option.

Also a burner number is nice-to-have in general, e.g. for website signups, apps, memberships or a secondary Telegram/Signal account (create a work profile or second user, if you want to use 2 accounts on one device), either to avoid spam or create pseudonymous accounts.
Once you have one burner sim (or a balance in TextVerified/SMSPVA), you can use the same number for multiple ATM purchases or help a friend who wants to buy Bitcoin to pass SMS verification.

I agree! Just hard to get one. The mint mobile SIM I got is the cheap 7 day trial one. I’m curious to see if you can renew with a prepaid debit. They have other options you pay more up front for longer service term. Which they sell at best buy and target
