I zapped this merely because I feel like the overall idea is to try and always say exactly what you mean and use expressions in a very deliberate manner.
I'm guilty of spamming "just" for sure hahaha I feel like the dev world is littered with things of the sort. A good reminder to train myself in my work speak. Once you get used to speaking with words and not expressions everyone uses, you start using those expressions better, communicating better and you also notice how excessively hyperbolic, excited and exaggerated our speech is nowadays.

But there is no way most of the times you can just stop using the word "just", in most cases.

This is really eye opening actually. I am pretty sure I’ve said this many times. Not to imply ease of implementation but to reduce moving parts. But I can definitely see how it may come across the wrong way

The only deft or apt deployment I know, albeit rarely, is as a rhetorical hypthetical device, as in: Could you just f*** off?
Then again, I'm not much of an engineer. ; )

I know your pain, mate. In my native language there's tens of these kind of words. And when I listen to people who use it I hear nothing except of these words.

This is an interesting idea I think I get it.
If you say, "let's just do x" you're not really encouraging much reflection on the idea.
