Do Italians seriously believe that politicians holding the custody of the gold is equivalent to the people owning it? I genuinely wonder how their minds work.
I think it's totally possible that people believe this, first of all the gold topic is a hot political one so it gets easly misinterpreted, and then remember that people thinks that the fiat money held in their bank accounts is ultimately theirs... so go figure how could they understand the policies on gold
