I woke up this morning with a Scottish victory song in my head. I could fully sing it under the shower, but I don't know its name. Sounds a bit like Auld Lang Syne but different. I figured out it's written in D dorian, that's all I got and the melody is like this: d [d g] g!2 [g a b a] b!3 [b a b a] b a g@2. Maybe someone can play it on their home instrument and help me out. Crowds chant it all the time in the football stadiums.
After I continued to explore this scale with its natural chord progressions: Dm Em F G Am B(dim) C .
I enjoyed the Bm7 to E7 move.
