Building a health and fitness app for nostr https://www.runstr.club/

I've been brainstorming an interesting path

RUNSTR focuses soley on being a health and fitness tracker

RUNSTR.Club focuses on being a website to create an manage fitness events like 5k's or pushup challenges.

I've been attempting to put health and fitness along with teams and competitions in one app but I'm thinking way better competition and team management stuff could be built via desktop browser.

Just some thoughts

i am extremely pleased with the "mute" feature, dear @k00b @ek; it so wonderfully cleans up the feed of unwanted opinions, that i don't even care much for the improvement of downzapping feature at this time; don't get me wrong, the downzapping has to be fixed in the future, but muting shud be the more heavily promoted feature;

any ideas for what is beneath NSFW & Wild West modes? i recall that Doom Eternal had 5 difficulty modes:

hahaha you still don't know how SN works and you still use an attached wallet. I never attached any wallet (except few times for testing) and never deposited any sats in my SN account. Yet I can post and comment as long as I want and still withdraw sats LOL. I said many times that SN gave a flaw in the rewards system and rewards should be removed totally. But yet nobody is paying attention to my words and even call me troll.

SN should work only with CCs, all this madness with attaching wallets is useless, not necessary. FFS guys, SN is just a game, act accordingly, you are not going to get rich with some miserable sats from zaps.

Right now I will withdraw those 20k sats and continue posting with CCs. But yeah SN is not telling the whole truth... and they push this experiment further with "attached wallets"...

Attaching only a receiving wallet means you want to milk sats from others, meanwhile you are giving CCs back.

Is not a bad "strategy" per se, but is kind of mean...

I use only CCs because for me SN is still a "pay to post" game. And is more fair to use CCs for that.

That doesn’t make me more satsmilker than you. The only difference is I take less time to get rid of the CCs. I’ve already explained why I use this setup, I don’t like my gun jamming when I need it, and at the same time I keep transaction fees and the SN privacy proxy fee 0.

Lol yeah mine ripped about a year ago. Bought some new ones. The right one is starting to wear out. Issues with making a seal at times causing a strange sound when I walk. Also my case charger port been broken for about a year or so as well. I been getting by with using cordless charging but that has its limits. Today I went to the gym the pods didn’t connect.

Tired of the nonsense so getting a new pair today

I've been playing with the idea of replacing both pairs but for my Pixel I use the beats buds (rarely because I almost never call from phone, which is funny) and these are now my reserve. They just don't filter noise as well on the mic. But technically that's not my problem lol.

I feel you re: connector, tho somehow my airpods cases are fine. My iPhone used to only have working wireless charging after a few years of extensive travel and other abuse. On a Pixel 3 stand because those were the best back in the day. I did swap the screen myself tho when I broke it. Just don't use it anymore.

Yeah so far upgrading to new AirPods have been nice. Before I used to use my gadgets until the broke but now I’m thinking maybe I should buy into this conspicuous consumption and buy new iPhones and AirPods every year. This new pro is amazing!

What helps is when you can boost someone that can use it productively by donating them your 1yo device. That actually does have a chance to truly boost the economy. But whatever you do, don't stack old, working devices doing nothing - that's waste.

Similar to the Stacker Saloon, it will stay pinned in the ~Design territory hot section for two weeks, recursively, giving us time to discuss and provide feedback to stackers's projects.

Didn’t have to report for work in the morning, but it’s no rest for the wicked as I spent two hours working on tomorrow’s Learning Festival presentation.

Now, given that each team is given a limited amount of time to present, I need not put out all the stops because I definitely have enough artefacts to engage my fellow colleagues.

Still, I analysed past year’s O level oral questions and extracted the ones that might come out for my sixth graders next year. The topic of cooking for PSLE Oral Day 2 actually came up during O Level Oral Day 2. I guess the same topics can be pitched to students of different age groups!

Given that this year’s topics are on orderly Singaporeans (social norms) and cooking (independent living), I think questions about school cleaners and good neighbours and Teacher’s Day celebrations are going to be a relic of the past. The scope is too limited? The emphasis seems to be on either the societal context or personal qualities.

Anyway, I zeroed in on ten O level questions to prepare my students for. Let’s hope divine intervention and Lady Luck are on my side. I have ten pupils who failed their year-end oral this year. The heat is on, but Sensei remains a resolute roly-poly warrior.
