Came here to say this. The old people never like what the kids are up to. Then the lids become old and don't like what the new kids are up to. Somehow we make progress.

The olds aren't all wrong though. Usually they have a few things right. We see this when the pendulum swings back. Yeah, often they are wrong but old people have seen more. But, your point is valid and it should be considered.
