Two things are discussed:
  1. Apartment buildings bundling internet in the rent price (not optional). The ISP would pay an apartment building owner to do this so people would not have a choice of ISP provider.
  2. He references a technique for using the wifi signal to map a room. Kind of like sonar in the water.
