But tbh I was a little disappointed by some of the dismissal of @porterhodl's concerns in his thread, which is pretty much the behavior on twitter he was complaining about. I love twitter actually, but I'm not sure yet what makes SN different in terms of being able to disincentivize the inherently human problem of reflex tribalism, hive mind thinking and capture by the vocal minority/majority. I'm a member of different communities on twitter and often feel discouraged to speak out because of the group-think bullying in different groups. To simply assume your tribe members are higher signal I think is a bit misguided.
