more sauerkraut as usual; the latest experimental batch contained lead because the kraut was so juicy that the kettlebell sank all the way into the juice lmao; i had to dump it and found out that Rogue kettlebells do not conttain lead, but many others do, for the high weight to volume ratio; i recall playing with the 88 lbs KB from Rogue - the size was huge!

• I've been working with sox on the architecture of the new editor
  • and how to incrementally deliver the editor so that we can gather feedback and not disrupt anyone's habits/expectations
• one pass cleaning up our github issues/prs some
• journaling about removing trust and brainstorming other feature deletions/simplifications

Documentation. Actually building out some level of documentation for my homelab. I've had a Bookstack instance running forever, and just never completed the self-documentation process. But that ends (or begins to end) this weekend.

2. a business switch/conversion and rebranding for an old friend of mine. Has anyone else switched businesses to a level like from nails to transportation?
3. did some administrative tasks for the apartment building I live in
4. planned some doctors appointments for routine checks
5. thinking about a short getaway/city-break and did some small research
6. got some rest after a long stressful period.

This week I have focused on organizing all the learning resources I have on bitcoin. I have friends who are interested in learning, and I want to show the world that we are living under an illusion regarding the money we use.

One of my websites is getting way too many requests to stay within budget. I'm having to drop anon account ability to playback videos. Now visitors have to log in first.

Gotta earn more money somehow. The required login widened my sales funnel which is good. Free accounts work, but you don't get all the analytics features unless you're a paid member.

Looked in my Pocketbase logs. Saw tons of SQL injection attacks. Luckily it's attacks for Oracle server, so whoever's doing that doesn't seem very focused. Botnet maybe. Might have to set up some CDN stuff to block that.

Realized I have an unsecured api endpoint where people can bypass the login and get the direct link to the videos. Not a huge deal yet (very few visitors know how to access it.) Can't just put access controls on the endpoint because that is the same endpoint for visitors get data for the webpages. Gotta re-architect that.

Definitely gotta remove the ability for users to download videos through the direct links. Could be that there are other sites hotlinking. Haven't seen any indication of that in the logs, but there's a shitton of logs I haven't seen and you know what they say about Murphey's Law. Gotta set up CDN signed URLs that expire after awhile so it's not an issue.
