In addition to rolling out bitcoin acceptance to Square terminals, CashApp allowing users to send bitcoin from dollar balances, and the incorporating a btc map of merchants into CashApp, Block is also hosting a coffee and donut food truck in Washington, DC, to raise awareness about the stupid way that US tax code treats bitcoin.

LOL again this bullshit with "email your representative" ? You just use Bitcoin and don't give a shit about the rest. That's it. Or they really want to make Bitcoin permissioned from permissionless?

While I agree with you, I'm not gonna complain if Block uses their warchest of money to convince politicians to feel more kindly toward bitcoin.

Even $600 is too low! We should be able to buy a territory without paying capital gains tax. Also, the de minimis exemption should be denominated in satoshis.
De minimis exemption for transactions up to 3,000,000 satoshis, please.
