The article overlooks or ignores the fundamental truth that human economies operate mostly upon a reliance on obedience and subservience by the masses. True creative thinking and innovation is largely the preserve of a minority. This system has worked best historically and while the evolution of technology has greatly enhanced human economic productivity our economies are still mainly reliant upon a compliant population who follow the lead and directives of those in positions of power.
