I see that phoenixd is compatible, but not the version for Android. I also tried using the LN address that Phoenix generates, but SN says it is invalid. Is there anything I can do besides switching configurations?

Thanks for your help.

Short answer: No.

reply

The hate against CCs is a nonsense because people are focused only on how to assmilk sats from others and from SN.

I am trying hard to educate people here, many consider me a troll doing this, but they are blind.

Haha, that's the truth! I just wish I could receive people's zaps with Phoenix for Android. It looks like it may be coming soon.

Check out coinos.io was able to use that as a play wallet for both nostr and stacker 👀 exactly what I wanted

reply

Alright, Coinos.io is my new receiving wallet! I'll sweep it into my Phoenix wallet from time to time so I don't have to trust it too much.

Thanks again for the recommendation!

Yup! Thanks.

Cool, I'll take a look! I'm not familiar with it.

The problem is sending/receiving when the app isn't open.

Phoenix mobile doesn't expose a way for users to authorize payments without opening the app.

The app shows that BOLT12 invoices are "coming soon." These would potentially make it so you could use Phoenix mobile with SN.

reply

Ah, right on, thanks!

Could Blixt for Android be a viable alternative? I've only used it on iOS, and since there are guarantees for background execution there at all receiving while the app is not active obviously doesn't work. But, on Android this is said to work iiuc. However, with Blixt you need to find/choose an LSP yourself, keep track of your liquidity, and periodically check in to contend fraudulent force closures.
