The Overton Window shift on tariffs is wild.
A year ago, 15% tariffs with Switzerland would have been unthinkably obscene.

A 110% agree! Something no one even thinks about anymore is how there is still a 10% tariff on everything.... he then added all these other ones depending on the country so people forgot about the base 10%!

I'd advise not to look into these deals and their background too deeply, and just be happy about them. Disappointment may be experienced by those that do; they may find that these deals have been in progress for quite some time and are now just rebranded to play along on the political stage.

True for some one thing that these deals have done though is tie specific companies to investment promises. It isn't broad like we get with China of we promise to buy X amount of soy beans
