We know that daddy Elon is building a payments system called X Money and all eyes will be watching with anticipation, to see how he handles the transition over to a digital payments network.

And the inevitable question, will he use the lightning networkAnd the inevitable question, will he use the lightning network

  1. He'll probably play it safe and introduce payments via fiat using a large payment provider like Visa, he'll need to keep the big banks in check and give them their kickback

Why?Why?

Business waffle: 'To establish the foundational structure for peer to peer payments and bank transfers, acting as a direct competitor to Venmo and PayPal'
Real talk: We are so entrenched in the fiat mindset, that's the only thing we know how to do 🤷

  1. The Shitcoin grift 🚀
The inevitable move, given Musk's history, the integration of shitcoinery is highly anticipated.

The league of Shitcoin Candidates:
These will not be mentioned on here, but we all know the usual suspects.

What are the chances that he actually goes all in and adopts the SN/Nostr approach of zapping? he has recently hinted at the strength of BTC versus fiat in a post on X. I searched for it and found a link but interestingly it's been deleted.

So where do stackers think Daddy Elon will pivot towards on his rollout of Xaps⚡️

I expect him to let us down once again. It definitely SHOULD be LN. Doing a sh$tcoin like DOGE might not work out well for him.

Yeah I agree. I think he might use Ripple and XRP though since they have been gaining traction with their partnerships.

Yeah, I'm 100% sure that he'll have fiat dollars as a major currency here. Probably most other national and multinational currencies (so the pound, the euro, etc). Probably doge because he loves it.

I don't use Twitter and I don't like Elon, so I don't really care, per se, but it really would make sense to add Lighting. And I can't imagine that some form of "zapping," (whether he uses the word itself) won't exist; being able to pay people quickly seems to be his major goal, and replicating his former company Paypal within the tool seems like a goal.

But no way any of the payments -- whether in dollars, doge, or btc -- aren't completely traceable and fully KYC'd.

I actually think that he is going to try to be a trail blazer with using Ripple and XRP. It will be a whole shock and awe type of thing that both companies will hype up but wont be all that impressive.
