It’s 2025, and the internet we loved is drowning in AI-generated noise. Content farms exploiting AI for profit are manipulating search results in this attention economy’s race to the bottom.
This makes us wonder: who are we building the web for?

who are we building the web for?
I'd pose: both. You probably want human content (otherwise you'd be chatting to a bot), but you want it to be accessible by both humans and LLMs, for those that are chatting to a bot? Better bot answers is also a desirable outcome, I think.

in the wrong hands, a web is a weaved trap - a web of lies; in the good hands, it's network, a well-connected work of art and care, built on proof-of-work, carefully crafted to catch normies that keep falling into the matrix; a spider who catches disease-spreading flies does not need to explain the math behind his lattice;
note that nature does not weave nets that are squares, yet the centralized platforms use symbols of total control: squares, blocks, cubes, hypercubes, and octagons;
study hard and protect ur attention, everything is connected;

beautiful how it works! i express a frustration (#1280472), wish for a solution, and the solution starts forming =)
obviously, Kagi needs to integrate bitcoin and lightning; not a single mention in the article of uncensorable distrubuted internet-native currency;
will stacker.news continue to lead the experiments in slop mitigation using bitcoin?
