The thing is, I actually agree with him broadly on a number of points, including the over-financialization of the American economy, the hollowing out of America's manufacturing capability, the danger of Chinese monopoly on rare earths production and productive capacity in general...
It's just that he can't seem to talk about or acknowledge anything else, so talking to him is just like getting a ball hit in your face repeatedly

Very few people get everything wrong. As hard as they seem to try.

He loves to ignore anything that will put a dent in his shiny armor. I feel bad for him to be stuck to the teat of a government like he is....
There are plenty of things I dont agree with in the US but its wildly moronic to ignore America trying and quiet frankly able to address a ton of its issues. Money has poured into manufacturing and our rare earths.... welp not only are we ramping up our own but we have launched the commercialization of permanent magnets that do NOT need rare earths.

You make false claims. Because you cannot win an honest debate. I do not ignore America trying- I just point out it is at least a decade and will cost billions of taxpayer funded subsidies for USA to get anywhere near being self reliant in rare earths supply. We have been over this many times and you cannot refute it. Even if USA can rebuild some rare earths self sufficiency the rare earths it supplies itself will be fantasically more expensive than those it has been sourcing from China- because China has deliberately built an entire economy based upon using its scale and planned capital allocations to achieve advantage across the production of manufactured goods and refining supply chains and skills base. The essence here is that your Libertarian 'free markets fix everything' Bullshit has been exposed as- BULLSHIT. It does not work in the real world where other nations can and will build economic capacity in order to project power and achieve self determination rather than being subservient slaves to the US Imperialists. It was clear more than a decade ago how much of a stranglehold China had over rare earths when they used it to pressure Japan- but neither Japan nor USA did anything of any substance about it because they were relying on 'market solutions' where there are none. Please stop grossly misrepresenting what I have written as it make you look like a desperate and dishonest apologist for US Exceptionalism.

Fair comment. I want mostly to talk about the things that I beleive as real challenges to our democracies, culture and freedoms. The response has been mostly hostile and being called a CCP bot, and determined avoidance of the issues. Not interested in back slapping self congratulatory arsemilking. But am human, and it naturally does hurt when called names, so I harden to those attacks in the belief they are mostly crude attempts to avoid the issues raised.
Our last remaining advantage may be our supposed freedom of speech (is that is even real? it does appear to be here on SNs at least) but we seem mostly incapable of using it to look at the most challenging things. I can understand peoples fear/reluctance to consider these issues but do not accept it.
Perhaps in this I am the village idiot to be laughed at and mocked but as long as I can I will not be silenced because I believe these issues are worthy of attention.

I'd recommend your handlers send you to some more English lessons because not only is the spelling and grammar wrong but so is the whole structure of your replies. Like my guy.... I know Google is likely banned but use a VPN and make sure what you say actually makes sense before you say it.
Also stop hiding from posts when you dont have an excuse for a way to weasel your way out of. Below @justin_shocknet has some of his highlighted if you think you dont do that.

You have rarely been capable of credibly refuting any of my posts and comments. Now you have given up completely on any attempt at reasoned debate and contest of ideas. That is your problem, not mine. Your stooping to baseless personal attacks, strawman arguments and blatant hypocrisy is demeaning to the entire process of reasoned debate and democracy. Your US Exceptionalist/Imperialist Libertarian hollow man hype is exposed every time you seek to divert the narrative from the facts and issues I raise.
