this gene was not lost, it was edited out; CRISPR is not a new technology; that was not evolution, but involution-degeneration; collagen synthesis and white blood cell function suffer as a result - note the epidemic of arthritis, infectious and neoplastic diseases; what kind of "evolution" is that?!
