Same can essentially be said for any organization that 'went woke', including the Democratic party itself. A knee jerk reaction to loud voices that was in many cases not intentionally fiendish but naive in implementation and ultimately disastrous for broader coalitions in the long run.

Inclusive language guides are toxic. They adopt a hermeneutic of suspicion, meaning that they ascribe the most harmful meaning to all words, rather than try to read the intent behind them. They invite the reader to endlessly question the intent of the author, rather than simply try to take words at face value. It is an unworkable way to communicate, and it's not surprising that any organization that gives in to that quickly falls into dysfunction.

yes, said that way it's no wonder. Very inefficient and ineffective.

Inclusive language is New Speak, it's a vacuous and loaded term

Another organization that's been ruined is the Student Conservation Association (https://thesca.org/). I was once associated with this group, and it used to be a decent organization, that placed young people in interesting outdoor internships.
I looked at it again a few years back, and was appalled. It was dripping with wokeness and DEI. Vaccine mandates everywhere.
Can organizations like this come back?
I always come back to this...it's easy to destroy, hard to create.
