First of all thanks for helping me out in this post regarding my old wallet, I got it operational again.

There's still quite a bit of lag in executing commands but they are processing within a couple of minutes.

My question now is: **what is a decent tx fee or fee rate to send a quick test transaction. **

I tried with fee_rate=3. But i don't see them appearing on mempool.space.

Thank you.

if you do gettransaction <yourtxid> what does it say?

reply

It looks like a normal output.
Is there anything specific i'm looking for?

reply

walletconflicts and under details: abandoned : <true/false>

reply

walletconflics: [],
abandoned: false

reply

then it should turn up on mempool.space eventually. if not you can always sendrawtransaction <hex> of the hex field value of the gettransaction output - maybe you don't have reliable peers for tx relay because you're in IBD right now.

reply

Thanks. Will wait again then. Otherwise tomorrow I'll send the raw stuff.

reply

Worst case if you're in a hurry, there are ways but I'll need to check if that stuff is still maintained by Jonas.

reply

No, no hurry. Just want to send the leftovers to cold store (before my computer's harddisk is swamped by the ever incoming blocks).

ok waiting for my last command to finish...

@optimism
Ok update. I've created a psbt, signed and put the hex in the mempool.space raw tx sender and I get the following error:

Failed to broadcast transaction, reason: bad-txns-inputs-missingorspent

I guess there's something wrong with my inputs.

Yes so are these coins from before your sync?

So then it sounds like they're not synched yet?

reply

Hmm, no they were sent early 2021 and my current local height is at 2024.

reply

Possible that you spent them?

reply

I have a balance left

reply

You see them in listunspent?

@optimism final update

Thank you very much!
