I saw live many heavy metal bands. Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest, Motorhead, AC/DC etc.
Motorhead on live scene is different than all others. Is just pure loud sound. 2 days after the concert you still have hearing issues :) They do not have a special show, with lots of lights, smoke, special characters on the scene (like Eddie and fat lady from AC/DC), their scenery is focused only on sound. Raw hard sound. Quite powerful.

I guess all those bands played in huge stadiums, or? I’m less and less into those concerts (I saw Iron Maiden this summer). People everywhere, if you're standing in the pit, you can’t see anything, my back ends up killing me (pointless opening bands with terrible sound, long breaks), or you’re sitting somewhere far from the stage (my case at Maiden’s concert) so you can’t see anything again, the sound is what it is.
This year I also went to see Left to Die (ex-Death) in a tiny basement club and that was a blast, speedy loud death metal, my head was ringing, probably I had a mild heart arrhythmia for a day or two 😂
I saw Judas Priest in a smaller hall, that was alright. And Black Sabbath in a smaller hockey arena in Paris (yep, they play hockey there too) that was absolutely top. I saw Metallica and AC/DC in large stadiums too. It’s a pity that I missed Motörhead.
