Here's a short video I saw on nostr of a micro drone flying around and killing mosquitoes. It immediately reminded me of a talk between Peter McCormack and Max Hillebrand about micro camera's capturing bitcoiners private seeds.

Imagine a drone the size of a fly hanging around taking pics of your seed phrase or the pin to your hardware wallet. It might be one we need to think more about. After all, stealing private keys is a far better return on investment than killing mosquitoes.

I don't mind mini-drones as personal security and protection. When the movements are detected at the gate or back of the property, wake-up, take a perimeter check flight and report to the mothership :-) Plus, jam any detected comms to blind them.... then... based on sitrep, take actions or not...

Jamming is why we need autonomous weapons systems

I'd like that too! One day...

i think that a space inside a faraday cage wud be a good defense against those, until the microdrone can run an autonomous LLM (large language model) on its chip; one cud live inside a faraday cage, which is necessary anyway due to non-native EMF exposure 24/7 in most densely populated regions; plus a routine microwave blast once in a while to clean up the immediate surroundings from drones;

additionally, NFC-signing devices such as a tapsigner obviate the need to expose QR codes or word seeds;

Sounds like an extreme setup. Might be something to add to a citadel so that the cost can be shared between a bunch of bitcoiners.

a man built a polyhedral structure with sacred geometric shapes and embedded crystals, that has some serious positive health effects based in electromagnetism; the building also blocks outside non-native EMFs

too many rabbit holes....

I'll get there eventually

Just use a room covered in aluminium foil like McAfee if you are too paranoid and put every day your seed in a form box.

This is kind of like the post quantum encryption debate-- the technology for that attack isn't there yet. That blue airframe showed in the video looks like a Tinywhoop air65. They sell for about $100 and they fit in your hand. Even it's camera would have a hard time reading a seedphrase. Their prop blades are noisy indoors and their cameras don't see details clearly. I had one of those before flying it into the sun and losing it in the woods (I was flying only line-of-sight). Shrink that camera to fit on a fly sized craft and I think it's ability to read text goes down, not up.

It's coming though right? They will get smaller and more focused.

If this is true they will have very difficult to make this shit be silent

as someone who recently got into drones and FPV drones, this is really cool

Wow, this is something amazingly chilling and exciting at the same time.

reply

well... this goes beyond any imagination and could turn anyone into a paranoid.
