pull down to refresh

Another week is on the books and only three teams remain unbeaten this year. Bayern München , Inter and Arsenal count their matches with victories. Bavarians beat PSG on Tuesday , causing a shock to most of us in the pool as only @joyfam and @brave predicted a German win.
Liverpool beat 1-0 Real Madrid, which none of us saw it coming. And finally on Tuesday, Napoli could not beat Eintracht in a goalless draw which nobody guessed.
On Wednesday, both English teams, Man City and Newcastle won easy their matchups against Borussia and Athletic Club respectively. Last match in our pool, Benfica vs Bayer Leverkusen, saw another German victory leaving Benfica at the bottom of the table along with Ajax. Surprising result for both teams.
England remains strong with five teams winning their matches and only one draw (Chelsea). Four English sides are at the top 8: Arsenal, Man City, Newcastle and Liverpool.
