Right, this is the problem for me: I don't know how to much to believe this story. On the one hand, I fully believe that police and ICE abuse their authority and the nature of our system has become such that they pretty much get away with it. On the other hand, we live in this super litigious society where everybody sues everyone else for everything. I could totally see a situation where ICE agents were driving kind of recklessly (in hot pursuit of criminals, I'm sure) and this woman was sipping her coffee and maybe looking at her phone while driving and not paying attention and collision. The world is messy.
