Yup. Dealbreaker for me. Immediately closed the page and will not return to this service.

I love the idea! The fact that you can filter out shitcoins definitely keeps it useful, although they are an eyesore to see. It looks like currently you’re just showing all places that accept bitcoin from open street maps and not just coffee shops. Is there a plan to just filter it to coffee shops? I’m assuming that’d import over 90% of what people would be submitting anyway. Anyway, looks really cool. I’m excited to see where it goes.

A truly coffeeshop limited map would be pretty neat.

Yes, and could be used even as a business model between shops, wallet devs and users, sharing the advertising costs. I think I posted about this model idea once, on SN...

so we use openstreetmap data as layers. y ou can hide them and only show user submitted layer which should just be coffee shops.

Why not pull from OpenStreetMap which already has lots of coffee shops listed that accept bitcoin? One as an example: https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/12960242112#map=19/40.776792/-73.979824
That one isn’t showing up in BitcoinLatte.
At the very least, all businesses of type ‘cafe’ that have coffee or espresso in the name, that have currency:XBT or payment:onchain or payment:lightning should be pulled into BitcoinLatte. There are many tools to extract (and map) this subset. One I like is https://overpass-turbo.eu/.
Please make sure any submitted manually through BitcoinLatte also get added on OpenStreetMap.
