Yeah no I was more concerned when I first read it that it was one of his staffers lol 

I've seen several people on X saying this is somehow suspect, sleazy, or proof of an affair.  According to a quick search, the **median** time to remarry for widowers is 1.7 years (it's longer for widows, at 3.5 years). So him remarrying after 16 months is not really that odd.

Rep. Massie's wife of 35 years had passed away a year and a half ago due to cancer. According to his announcement he actually married Carolyn Grace Moffa last month on Oct. 19th but only just announced it. Carolyn Moffa had worked for Sen. Paul from 2011-2016 in a number of roles focused on agriculture policy.

At least he didn't marry one of his own staffers..... that tends to be something that kinda sorta pops up and occurs in DC.... so that's good....
