The Raiders lost in OT trying to convert a 2-pt conversion. I'm glad they didn't play for the tie. Unlike they're previous demoralizing performances, this game was very fun and had lots to reflect on.
  1. Brock is the offense: This guy is absolutely unstoppable. He had three TDs today, which is more than the whole team had scored in the month of October (I didn't bother fact checking that). When he's healthy the offense works and when he's not it doesn't.
  2. RUN THE GODDAMN FOOTBALL!!!: Chip Kelly, the highest paid OC in the history of the NFL, continues to refuse to lean on Jeanty, who looked great in the limited touches he got early on. What's worse than spending premium draft capital on a RB? Spending premium draft capital on a RB and paying an OC $6M GODDAMN DOLLARS to not use him.
  3. The Raiders still can't tackle for shit: This has been an issue for as long as I can remember. Once they outlawed everything Jack Tatum and the Soul Patrol used to do, the Raiders haven't been able to get players on the ground. Even Mad Maxx whiffed on three different attempts to tackle Travis Ettiene and everyone else was worse than that.
Still, there were things to build on in this game and Geno wasn't complete garbage. Maybe we have a chance against the Donkeys on Thursday.

Unfortunately I think we have to cross off the commies this week. 3-6 now and Daniels will be out for awhile with that arm injury.

We can do two today, since we've seen two weeks of games.

Almost won. That's something.

Played well enough to win, which is the important thing
I thought they mostly outplayed the Jags, but a few bad plays made a big difference

Nice recap. I saw Ashton’s stat line and wondered why they abandoned the run. It was a close game all game

The entirety of Raider Nation was, and has been, wondering the same thing.
