We are looking for a passionate and purpose-driven Social Media Specialist to drive our mission, articulate our commitment to privacy and freedom, and cultivate an informed, engaged global community. Core Responsibilities
- Community Management & Engagement: Actively monitor, manage, and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all primary social media platforms (e.g., X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.). Foster a positive, helpful, and engaged community presence.
- Content Strategy & Creation: Develop and execute a consistent content calendar. This includes crafting clear, unique, and insightful long-form content (e.g., threads, blog posts, detailed updates) that educates our audience on privacy, self-custody, financial empowerment, and our supported asset ecosystems.
- Trend Monitoring & Rapid Response: Stay relentlessly current with the latest viral topics, cultural conversations, and breaking news within the freedom tech space. Strategically jump on relevant trends to increase brand visibility and drive timely, high-impact engagement.
- Proactive Public Relations: Actively seek out and engage with popular and influential posts, topics, and conversations relevant to Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, and the broader themes of digital freedom and financial privacy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing social media accounts, preferably within the privacy, self-custody, open source, or financial technology (FinTech) sectors.
- A deep, demonstrated understanding of Bitcoin, Monero, and the Ethereum ecosystem - and the cultural nuances of their respective communities.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with an ability to distill complex topics into clear, accessible, and mission-driven language.
- Strong organizational skills and experience using social media management and analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
