Makes you wonder if the national guard being deployed to select cities wasn't really about ICE 🍿
These are 2 different issues:
- national guard deployment
- ICE or immigration enforcement
NG was deployed under the pretense of protecting ICE personnel facilities
They're different legal battles but one operation
Deploying NG to protect federal employees is valid and legal
Doesn't mean it wouldn't be challenged, which it was and the Dems lost, so if shit goes sideways next week the NG is already in position without delay
I'm comfortable predicting that missed SNAP payments will result in a verifiable shitstorm.
