Excellent post. I agree 100%… Keep it simple. Over-complication is our worst enemy.
I would just add… all bitcoiners should teach their heirs how to set up and use a Bitcoin wallet, import a seed phrase, etc. This way they will be prepared ahead of time. I held a bitcoin class at the dining room table with my family after dinner one night. I had them download BlueWallet, then I sent some sats to one person, and had that person send some to the next person, and so on until they all experienced the art of sending & receiving. They loved it. And now they’ll know what to do when I kick it.
Also… when stamping your seed phrase into washers, you either need a super solid workbench or you’re going to want to get yourself one of these metal stamping blocks… https://a.co/d/4Mdu8vl
It’ll give you a nice clear impression.
Thanks for your feedback and your further notes. Fully agree, talking about Bitcoin with your closed ones and teaching them how to handle your coins once something happens to you is super important.
Nice add on with the stamping block! Thanks.
