@BitcoinErrorLog made this interesting simulator where you can see how long it might take people to get transactions confirmed given a certain percentage Lightning and/or Ark users trying to get to the chain.
There's a lot of configurability, and I'm not sure if I totally buy the results...but still, it's useful to simulate these things out and see what we are actually talking about when we say 200 million lightning users.

Just seeing all of these options makes me think that I still don't know much about lightning.
It might be an interesting experiment, buy the thing is when block space becomes expensive, people change their habits. If it's too expensive newbies will opt for the cheaper custodial option. That's why I don't think this simulation works.
