I used to think Bitcoiners were mostly on the same page, but there are clearly people who don't understand what permissionless means.

The only question I have regarding this that is in the order of magnitude of 500k sats or so important: will 50% of my current LN counterparties (SN) be on the shitcoiner chaintip that activates this? @k00b?

That was one of the first things I learned about Bitcoin. Nobody needs to ask permission to use it. We can argue about it, but that's a whole another story!
