What a great article describing our last meetup at Goli!πŸ’–πŸ˜„πŸ₯° Thank you very much for your glowing description of our gathering...πŸ™πŸ»πŸ˜†
FYI, we are very new to this venue; my colleague and I founded Escondido Bitcoin Meetup less than two years ago, and for most of that time our group has met at a pub in Escondido that has, unfortunately, now closed down...
The good news is that we have an upcoming meeting with the proprietors at our new venue, Goli, to discuss accepting bitcoin. Although that hope is yet to be seen, we think prospects are excellent... They have been very helpful and encouraging hosts thus far.
Thanks for the suggestion that we connect the Goli people with the folks at Phileas Foggs down in San Diego. A chat with the principals there should help encourage Goli to take sats as payment!
My colleague and I are also working on curating and organizing a modest collection of media (very short videos, brief articles) explicitly targeted at "executive level" persuasion to help enterprise owners "over the hump," helping them to at least TRY accepting bitcoin payments.
Stay tuned; we should know the outcome at Goli within a week or two, God willing.πŸ™πŸ‘πŸ˜„
Thank you for your effort and creating a space for us!! San Diego has a bright bitcoin future. We have a good group here.

I've heard of it but never been. I host mine at Quantum in Kearny Mesa.
