NMC

what stands for?

reply

When did you start with Bitcoin?

reply

Probably not early enough to know remember what NCM means LOL

reply

Ok fair enough.
NMC = NameCoin, it was a "coin" (not really) merged mined with BTC and used for a decentralized DNS.
But died in 2016-2017, I don't know exactly why.
I use to have some .bit domains, paid only with these NMC that I was merge mining with BTC. Early years were wild... I miss them. Nobody was talking about ETFs and BTC backed loans and crap like that. Everybody was focused on how to fuck the gov.

nmc.org

Really surprise me that a technical guy like you doesn't know about it.

reply

I should have not ask LOL. It did not died, it still there, you got the wrong ICANN domain namecoin.org

reply

nah... you are good. I appreciate your posts and questions.

you got the wrong ICANN domain namecoin.org

was a test LOL

reply

Didn't know this repost existed x3

Yeah, I guess so, but without the new coin/separate chain and relying on its security, but rather this solution relies on Bitcoin's full security without even touching it (/putting junk in it) =3
