Amazing to see how most of people are so dumb and brainwashed. When they see a SN territory with the name "crypto" (https://stacker.news/~crypto/) they immediately think is about shitcoins and crap and post all kind of bullshit "news" about shitcoins. Even that is specifically mentioned in the territory description that is NOT about shitcoins but cryptography and such.

LOL this world is sooo fucked up.

Let them post about shitcoins and crap, more sats for me (literally).

When we can configure fees per user, I will raise the fee for shitcoiners.

reply

I'm curious how the fees per user will appear. Will they see territory fee + user fee separately or will the territory fee appear different for each user?

Still up for debate but I’m leaning towards showing them separately in the fee info.

I’m also thinking about “negative fees” here, so discounts for someone to post. These should definitely be shown separately IMO.

This is going to open up a whole can of worms

this sounds bad but I assume you mean it in a good way? 👀

reply

I mean it in a purely descriptive way.

No and you asking this makes me think you also didn’t read the description

reply

thank u, i see it now, hovering over the territory title; nope, the disclaimer does not solve the problem ))

You can also read it here:

Sorry if that wasn’t clear

that button is like...

I would say that shitcoins do not belong in ~cryptography because they do not contribute in any relevant way to our knowledge or application of cryptography. THey just copied bitcoin's cryptographic scheme and call it "crypto", but it is really just casinos and memes

reply

No, I do not think that will change anything. My observation was not about the territory per se, but about the shitcoiners mindset. We need to change their mindset not the territory.

the best moves i have done with bitcoin meetup groupchats is to leave them, after collecting a few aware friends from there and continuing to educate them; luckily, i am seeing some early fruits of my influence, and i am sure u do too, after years of teaching!
