Fortunately, there were no injuries or material damage *(some cars were hit by rocks).* What I take away most from this experience are those independent men who take action and don't just sit back and wait for the authorities to resolve the situation.

Wow, looked like it would have been hard work. I don't think it would be possible in Australia. If people were under the rubble for sure they would help, but if it were just covering the road they probably wouldn't due to legalities.
