Yes. Some years ago, I saved a motorist life from a landslide.
I was driving a mountain road with very steep walls around and some motorists were behind me. I saw them in the mirror and I saw they hesitate to pass over me because of the many curves ahead.
But I had better visibility then them and I make them a sign to go ahead and pass me.
In the moment the last motorist (they were like 4) passed me, I heard a loud crack and boom behind me.
Looking in the mirror I saw a giant boulder just falling down from the mountain, right behind my car, at no more than 3-4m. Some small rocks hit my car too but not too much damage.
If I weren't let those motorists to pass me over, they were dead now.
Landslides are really dangerous.

u thot u were saving them a few minutes, whereas u saved them lifetimes; crazy story
I completely agree. There are those who think that a simple action is useless, but these experiences confirm otherwise.

A pretty powerful anecdote, if you were to act like the typical annoying driver who doesn't let anyone pass him, a fatal accident would possibly occur.
