Two photographs here from a long-dormant project where I hunted for ghost signs that had particularly appealing layers of typography, paint, color and texture, often colliding to form something that could be seen as contemporary graphic design. The third shot (35mm) shows a wider view of the second sign for Boyd Pianos on another day. I lived around the corner from that sign in Dalston, London. Sometimes it would be covered by a billboard, but every so often it would emerge again.
I'm posting this into 'Design' as it's more about graphic design than photography, really.
