I know not many stackers will care about this very local history, but this is the place where many Long Island bitcoin meet ups have been held recently. This lake's problems are severe. No one seems to be recognizing as a possible cause the fact that the shoreline is 80% owned by local governments. I think a nice, private bitcoin circular economy is the obvious solution.😀
I've seen the geese problem in lots of other locations. Geese (without any predators, can't hunt them) take over lakes, poop everywhere, and make many a lake park unpleasant.

I thought it was refreshing to see a mainstream environmentalist type argument that identifies humans as the solution, not the problem.
