CC (Cowboy credits) are used first for paying for post/comments/zaps. If you don't have enough CC then the site will try paying with Sats from your connected lightning wallet.

You want to get rid of CC first as they can not be withdrawn and are less valuable (not real bitcoin) then Sats.

Last time I checked, the cost to post or comment in CCs are the same as in sats?

In my opinion: Less valuable because you can't withdraw them and take them into self custody like Sats.
