I saw both parts (yes there's platform 2 also) and remind me of the worst times in my life: the communist era.
And I think this spanish movie exactly that wants to transmit: how is to live in communism. Many spanish movies have a tendency towards communism.
The 2nd part is even more gruesome.
I haven't watched 2 yet. Perhaps soon.

you will not lose too much if you miss it. Continue in the same way, same pattern, more fights, more guts, same message.
But yes, you choose an interesting horror movie.
