Too bad that it doesn't matter what tradeoff you make, but what tradeoff other people make.
If you want to have custodial solution for the masses, find a solution in which a totally new person is able to receive exactly 1 sat.
Start first by acknowledging the problems with lightning, instead of aggressively dismissing them and bullying everybody that hints that the whole "you need to have money to receive money" is a problem.

For me, the biggest pro of Bitcoin is sovereignty.
I've thought for a while that maybe I'm too thick to get Cashu, despite understanding the tech quite well. I don't think that this is the case now.
There's a lot of energy, money and time going into Cashu, that imo would be better spent elsewhere. But who am I to decide how people expend their effort.
