The Bitnob app recently received a UX redesign. A new "Transfer" button adds the ability to send directly to a bank account or mobile money wallet in the countries that Bitnob supports (Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, Benin, Senegal, Ivory Coast, and Togo).
The recipient doesn't have to use bitnob or provide any information -- the funds just arrive.
This lets a person in almost any country (except the U.S. and the handful of countries on the OFAC list) add funds to their bitnob app using bitcoin, convert them to USD, then Transfer fiat to the recipient in their currency to their bank account or mobile money wallet.
Or those in any of the eight countries that Bitnob supports (listed above), they can add funds not just from bitcoin, but also local fiat (e.g., bank transfer or by using mobile money). And then from there send to any bank account or mobile money wallet in any of those eight countries as well.
Say goodbye to Western Union, Moneygram, WorldRemit, SendWave, Wise, and more -- at least for these eight countries!!!

Here's the Tweet from Bitnob that kicked off the Twitter thread where they announced this Transfer feature:
Newsflash⚡ You can now transfer money directly from your Bitnob wallet to other local bank accounts or Mobile money wallets in 8 African countries🥳🎉
