I did a lot of things like that, you have to be quite inventive in such situations. When you are in need a lot of interesting things comes to your mind.

man, ya i think of when i am doing a project at home and i get frustrated that I need to make a trip to the hardware store for something i forgot. But when you are hiking miles into the site, you really gotta work with what you got to another level! Impressive and thanks for sharing.
